The 36th annual Wooden Boat Show - of the N.C. Maritime Museum occurs at the Museum, Watercraft Center and on the Beaufort waterfront. 22th Annual Beaufort Music Festival
The 2010 Beaufort Music Festival offers music and concerts on mulitple stages in Downtown Beaufort and on the waterfront. This is a family oriented weekend with free music and activities for all family members. MCAS Cherry Point Air Show
The East Coast's largest Marine Corps air station will again open its gates to the public during its now annual open house highlighting the latest in Marine Corps warfighting technology and military aviation. Performers this year include the U. S. Navy's "Blue Angels," the Black Daggers, the Red Eagles, Super Shock Wave Jet Truck, Bill Leff T-6, the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team, Marine Air Ground Task Force and many more. Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament An exciting Crystal Coast tradition in mid-June, this is one of the largest sport-fishing tournaments in the country, and is fished by around 200 competitors in substantial cash categories. There are generally around 6 to 8 competitors in each boat. 50th Annual Beaufort Old Homes & Gardens Tour A self-paced tour through the quaint streets of Beaufort, one of North Carolina's oldest towns. Open for touring are private residences and gardens, the Old Burying Ground, and the buildings of the Beaufort Historic Site. A concert, antique car show, living history demonstrations and tours of Beaufort's historic district are scheduled. For information call 252-728-5225.

Fourth of July Parade & Community Picnic Along the downtown Beaufort waterfront is an old-fashioned tradition in historic Beaufort. The parade includes kids, pets, wagons, flags, & music. Barta Boys and Girls Club Billfish Tournament Headquartered at the downtown Beaufort Docks, is a billfish release-only event with Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin and King Mackerel Gamefish Divisions including a Jr. Angler Division for ages 16 years or younger. In addition to fishing, the world's greatest marine artists are on hand to display their artwork, some pieces are available at auction. 31st Annual Beaufort Olde Towne Rotary Road Race
The race is run through the historic Town of Beaufort and along the waterfront, and afterwards there's plenty to do. Fishing, kayaking, sailing, shopping and a variety of restaurants await you. Proceeds from the Race benefit the boys and girls of Carteret County.

Historic Beaufort Candlelight Tour of Homes Another way to get ready for the holidays this year is to visit beautiful homes, Inns and B & Bs in Historic Downtown Beaufort all "dressed up" for the holidays. Hop aboard the BHA's English double-decker bus and sing with carolers as you travel to your destination. Tickets are $10 at the Beaufort Historical Association.
